Dallas Lawyer Jeff Rasansky Named a "Texas Super Lawyer"

DALLAS – For the fourth year in a row, Dallas personal injury lawyer Jeff Rasansky has earned a spot among the Texas Super Lawyers.

In the "Texas Super Lawyers" section of the October 2006 Texas Monthly, Mr. Rasansky is honored among the state's top personal injury lawyers. He also received special recognition, being singled out one of the Top 100 attorneys in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

The Texas Super Lawyers list also appears in Texas Super Lawyers magazine, a publication co-produced by the publishers of Texas Monthly and Law & Politics Media, Inc.

To compile the list, more than 55,000 lawyers across Texas were asked to nominate the best of their peers - the Texas Super Lawyers - based on first-hand knowledge. Rigorous screening by a blue-ribbon panel representing more than 50 practice areas and confirmation that the lawyers' credentials met the criteria put forth by the Texas Super Lawyers' Research Department followed. The final list of Texas Super Lawyers is made up of less than five percent of all Texas lawyers.

"It is always great to be acknowledged for success," says Mr. Rasansky, "but it is truly special when your work is recognized by some of the best in your own profession. I'd like to think it means I'm doing what's right for my clients."

Earning honors is nothing new for Mr. Rasansky. In 2002 and 2004, D Magazine called him one of Dallas' "Best Lawyers Under 40," and in 2003, the magazine also named him one of "The Best Lawyers in Dallas." In 2001, Texas Lawyer newspaper named him to its "40 Under 40" list of top young lawyers in the state. And of course, Texas Monthly picked Mr. Rasansky as a Texas Super Lawyer in every year since 2003.

After earning his law degree from the Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1990, Mr. Rasansky joined a downtown Dallas firm where he learned the personal injury and liability tactics used by large insurance companies, hospitals and nursing homes. In 1994, he formed the Rasansky Law Firm. Since then, his firm exclusively has represented individuals in cases involving medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, products liability, personal injury, overtime pay, and serious vehicle accidents.
